The other night while I was sitting at my desktop browsing the net, my
ZoneAlarm popped up an alert! Kazaa Lite was attempting to access my SMTP
server on port 25. I blocked it of course.
I've been using Kazaa Lite - this version - for nearly a year without any
difficulties. This is the first time something like this has happened. Even
after I blocked it, Kazaa continued to perform seemingly flawlessly.
However I admit to being a bit shaken by this attempt.
As far as I know there is no reason whatsoever that Kazaa would need to
send an e-mail. Perhaps I've miss read something. I've included two PDF
files in a zipped attachment for your review. They contain the information
collected during this attempt from ZoneAlarm.
If anyone has seen this before or has any idea why Kazaa would be
contacting some site in Texas, by all means let me know!
